It is with your support that we are able to work towards our mission of empowering children in DC’s most under-resourced neighborhoods to succeed academically and overcome decades of disinvestment.
If your organization is interested in joining our generous community of supporters please contact us at donors@hortonskids.org.
Corporate Volunteering
For several years now, HK has been bringing volunteering onsite to corporate partner offices and we’re ready to come to YOUR OFFICE!
Drum roll please… Pack-It-Forward wants to come to you!
Here’s how it works: Your team purchases essential items from our curated list—groceries, health supplies, and hygiene products—for approximately 150 family bags (around $5,000 total). Then, we bring Horton’s Kids to your office! Our team delivers a short presentation about our mission and impact, and your employees roll up their sleeves to pack bags alongside us. It’s hands-on service that directly supports families in Southeast DC—and a powerful team-building experience for your company.
